I’ve been having this issue for years now if it’s the same issue, over multiple server, plex app and iOS updates on a 6th Generation iPad.
Without warning the app will just crash to the iOS home screen.
Sometimes I’ve noticed when I relaunch the app and try to play the file again it doesn’t pick up at the point it crashed but much earlier.
I’ve reported it before but the thread didn’t get far but this one seems to have more input.
If my issue is different please let me know and I will bow out.
I’ve tried to identify log data before but I will give it another go if it might lead to an eventual fix.
This is the previous thread I was directed to but it never reached a conclusion.
