I’m using Plex since many years now. It look like the Plex development is stuck on some side add-ons like Plex community Or Plex TV and so on. And they complitely lost the main goal of the plex which is the family/home sharing multimedia stuff. There is a lot of security problem as well. The interfaces, the new or the old one, are kind of ■■■■■■. No update in the settings menu since 5 or 10 years. No possibility to tune a little bit the interface, the information displayed for a movie. Or having a admin and share the right to other Friends.
If you look at Emby you will see a system much much reliable. And i’m a early user of Plex. i wanted to stay on it but there is too many problems. So i’m really thinking to move to Emby and stop Plex. i’m using both right now on the same machine and Emby is working much better of a big amount a files. Like 25000 Videos.
Is there someone from Plex Dev teams who can explain what’s the problem and what are the next for Plex to fix problems and extend capabilities?
