Plex is suddenly transcoding media it have used DirectPlay before

Unraid, with linux docker container.
Player Version#: app.plex.tv - with Chrome

Hello Plex,

I got the issue for a while now. I think I first notice it around late november, but I havn’t fingured out why.
My issue is that Plex is transcoding media it havn’t transcoded before. Normaly it have used DirectPlay, and it have work perfectly.
The exsample I have, is via you webplayer in Chrome, but I allso seeing it on you AndroidTV app (PhilipsTV, android 8. Version I will check later to night)

The exsamle right now is:
Media: MKV @ H256 - 1080p. Plex is telling the media is 3.1Mpbs quality.

The chrome webplayer wont even start playing the media.

When I change the setting to “Convert Automaticly” it changes the media to "MP4 @ H264 - 1080p. Plex is telling the media is now 4.5Mpbs quality.

I havn’t changed anything in the Plex server setting for years.

What do I do?

In the settings (app.plex.tv), under Plex Web - what are your quality settings there? i’d compare or check those plus the settings on any other Plex tv app and see what’s up.

#1 They are set to maxium quality and audio.
They are allso set to use DirectPlay (both video and audio)

When the media is not playing I can see Plex is showing it playing it, but not picture is playing.
