It’s as if my Firestick Plex player has its own progress where my browser and Roku TV keep sync for the most part. I’ll was part of a season on my firestick plex player for a couple of days and then jump on my Roku or web player and progress is up to date but watch a few more episodes on a season or move on to a new season and then go back to my firestick to try to continue and it’s as if I haven’t watched any more of said show since last time I watched through my firestick according to where it shows my progress. One of multiple issues I’ve been experiencing with Plex.
Make sure to actually stop the playback at the end of the episode. (if it still plays in the small window, it isn’t stopped).
Push the Back button of your remote a few times.
It is safest to exit the plex app before shutting down the device/TV.
