I’m clicking on the arrow which appears when there is a new update. Then i select download update and install update. Then it gives me the page where it says it might take a few minutes .but no matter how long u leave it (anything from few minutes to a full day) after u click try to reconnect it shows u that ur still on the previous version and u can update…what can the problem be…it’s been doing this for a while so im behind by a few udates
On what platform are you experiencing this, and for which particular app (server, player…)?
o sorry i totally forgot to mention that…Its on windows 11 and its my server
Have you tried manually installing the update from Plex‘s download page?

Updating the program won’t delete/change your server’s data directory.
