Plex Issues on Fire TV Cube (Music Playback)

I am having various issues on Plex music playback on the FireTV Cube (latest version). At some point the screen goes black, this is with the screensaver turned off. Is there somewhere to continue showing the artist info and the cover art? I have searched both sets of settings and can’t find anything.
The play/pause buttons work randomly. This is usually with the screen black.
When I try to get back to Plex to pause something I end up at the FireTV Cube home screen. Why doesn’t it stay on Plex? Is this a FireTV Cube thin as well.
These are all annoyances. Does anyone have any suggestions for solving any of this issues.

It’s a hidden setting on the Fire TV devices. If you are comfortable using a command line, you can change this. How to set custom Sleep or Screensaver times on the Amazon Fire TV or Stick without root | AFTVnews

Thanks. I will look at the article over the weekend when I have time. It looks like that may solve part of my problems.

I went through the steps and I am still having the same issue.

I start Plex on FireTV Cube. It plays and the screen shows the song and album cover for a period of time. At some point the screen goes blank.

For a while I can press the pause/play key and it will work even though the screen stays black. At some point I have to hit the home or select key to get anything. At that point I am at the home screen of the FireTV. I have to reselect Plex and I can see Plex load like it normally does. I then have to navigate over to what is playing to pause it.

This is very frustrating and wasn’t always this way. At one point the screen would always have what is playing showing. Also at one point, the music would play through all the speakers, now it seems to be just stereo. The having to reselect Plex and go through to the now playing seems to be more recent.

I set the sleep to 0 and the screen saver to whatever never was published for no sleep/screensaver.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
