Looking for ability to turn off Plex screensaver, primarily for playing music. I play various music playlists using Plex on Firestick, Fire Cube or LG TV and for the first 20 minutes on any device, Plex will display the Artist and Song Title along with album cover. After 20 minutes, it switches to whatever screensaver is set on the device. I’ve disabled the screensavers on all the player host devices and now it just goes to a blank page after 20 minutes. I saw this situation discussed a few years back but apparently there used to be a setting in Plex Preferences on each player you could set screensaver options. That seems to have gone away at some point and I’ve been unable to find any way to affect this problem. I know it’s not the device because if I’m playing music from any other source, it will continue to display the artist and song information as long as the source is active. Plex is the only music source that I can’t get to continue to display the Artist and Song info longer than 20 minutes. Anyone have any insight or recommendations on how to resolve this?

I have since given up on using Plex on FireTV because of this screensaver problem. It seemed to me at the time that the Plex app might be missing some API call to disable the Fire OS screensaver when it’s playing music. But that is just a wild guess on my side.
