What can I say. Plex HAS been running like ■■■■ for two weeks now and I didn’t want to install the latest update because I’d read horror stories about it as well. So I was watching Plex on my Shield and it was getting sluggish, which it NEVER does on my Shield. So I restarted both, sat down, clicked the app and…nothing, no server found. So went to my desktop and sure enough it was lifeless and would not connect for anything. Please help.Plex Media Server Logs_2019-04-11_04-19-50.zip (2.4 MB)
Looks like you were set to automatically update. The update adds some new fields to the database and yours didn’t make it through cleanly.
Start with a database repair:

I actually was NOT going to apply the latest update because I had read about too many issues. I decided to try updating to see if it would fix my problem.
I found a database to restore but am not sure how to do it. For instance this confuses me:
- Duplicate the database backup file into the correct directory and then rename it to
com.plexapp.plugins.library.db
IT WORKED!!!
Database Repaired.
Thank you so much!
