Plex Keeps Crashing all the time?

Hello Everyone. I need your help in finding the root cause on why my Plex Server constantly crash. It seems to be happening more since I updated Plex or when I watch an Anime with subtitles. Thanks in advance

Hi could you use https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/ to grab the correct logs that should cover the period leading unto the crash.

This happens for me too. I’m using:
Plex Media Server: Version 1.20.0.3181-0800642ec

I’m having the same issue. Trying to restart the service through the terminal (sudo service plexmediaserver restart) doesn’t seem to help at all, and I have to completely reboot the server (Linux mint 17.3) to get it up again. Once back up, It’ll run fine for a while… long enough to watch a couple of movies but by the next day, it’ll have crashed.

This has been happening since upgrading from 1.19.4.2902 to 1.20.1.3252 (current), every morning/afternoon for roughly the last week, it’s down again.

EDIT: Just noticing that this was posted under “server-windows” (I came here from a search result). I’ll find a Linux forum to ping for help.
