Plex keeps defaulting to Spanish audio track - how do I change it?

I’m having a strange issue where Plex DVR and playback keeps defaulting to the Spanish audio stream instead of English.

It’s happening with all shows I record, and even when I change individual shows, it keeps switching back to Spanish.

My server is on Windows and I see this on all playback endpoints - web, Plex Windows app, iOS, etc.

Clearly some default was set incorrectly somewhere, but I can’t find a way to change it. Any tips?

settings -> languages

?

Is that for every channel?

I ask because last year, several of my channels set Spanish as the first audio stream, and that’s what everything defualts to. Any software I’ve tried always uses the first audio stream, and I have to manually change it when I’m watching certain channels.

Not that it helps you any, but just seems like it’s more about how the audio is set up on the channel. Unless there’s a way to save audio stream preference by channel, which I’m not aware of.

I’m having a similar issue too, except my DVR is only recording the “nar” audio description stream instead of the main “English” stream.
Looking at the channel in VLC it has the “nar” audio stream first (stream 1) and the main English one last (stream 4).
So guess Plex is only selecting the first audio stream and going with that?
My language settings are all set to English and I have no hearing impaired settings .

Any way to change this or set Plex to record all audio streams and then manually select at playback?
