Look …I might be the only one out there feeling that Plex let me down over the past 12 months. I’ve gone out and got the best TV on the market …Ive upgraded my router and have bad ass nas system with a dvr to boot…Yet I find there’s a bit too many glitches in what Plex has offered over the past 12 months from DVR setups:beta3 not compatible to any current updates…to missing scroll boxes on my Samsung TV you know the orange box that moves around the screen to choose a movie…Or the invite to a great new feature where you never receive it…
Don’t get me wrong Plex is “good” as long as you don’t mess with all those awesome features …it’s just that little orange x has taken me on a roller coaster ride over the past year where you think is stable and BAM! you have a full system crash or your screen freezes with that little orange swirl …
Ok enough growling move on yo’all say…but really whats the general census?
I don’t really understand what the issues you’re having really are, but from the little bit you’ve dropped you refer to 2 beta items and one not-recommended item (depending on built-in apps on “smart” TVs). For Plex’s core, stable features it works fine. If the only thing you care about Plex for are fringe/beta/alpha features then yes, you’re not going to have a good time… same with any other product.

Yer beta agree theres not much you can do about that…id hope that they would intergrate this with future updates rather than leave us behind.
Samsung series 9 tv 2016 model…issue with that little orange box just disappears when you turn the tv off…to get it back you need to exit the app and restart…(see seperate post)
Agree core features are stable thanks 4 your 2 cents worth.

Clearly the issue here is… you are using an outdated TV! 2016 is a thing of the past we are days away from 2017 please upgrade accordingly and be prepared to upgrade again in 4 months, thx~
