Plex Library From Network Drive Constantly Scanning

I have my Amazon Drive account linked as a network drive on a Windows 10 machine. I uploaded ~60GB of photos there last week, and created a photos library on my (non-cloud) server. Now every time I check, Plex is scanning the photos library, and never seems to finish. It blocks the scanner from seeing any new media in other libraries. The only way I can get it to stop is by restarting the server. Any ideas?

Check your log files. If you see error ‘429’, you are being limited by Amazon. It is one of the Amazon-infrastructure difficulties also seen by Plex Cloud

I have 35,600 photos in 200 albums. I shut down the server, and re-started it. Then I hit the update library button (in Plex Web). 7 hours have passed since then, and it’s still going. I’ve been tailing the logs on NetDrive (which is what created the network drive pointing to my Amazon Drive account), and it’s on the 2nd round of requesting every file in the library. I’ve only seen 200 response codes (I setup a tail piping to grep looking for HTTP/1.1 4), and (amazingly) Amazon doesn’t seem to be rate limiting it.

Now closing in on 12 hours, and all files from the photos section have been scanned multiple times.

Can you grab all your log files and attach them as they are now please?
