Does Plex Lifetime include Plex arcade?
No. Plex Arcade is a totally separate subscription. You do get a discount for having a Plex Pass.

I believe that if you are a Plex Pass Lifetime member Plex Arcade should be included without cost. I look at it as I watch movies now but if I wanted to watch tv shows I’d have to pay for that option as well. The reason I paid for Plex Pass Lifetime was to be able to get all the new things without having to pay again for a new or different subscription.

I agree, while this is a really interesting concept and I’d be interested in using it I do think that this extra service should either be included if you are a Plex Pass lifetime subscriber or there should at the very least be an offer to pay a smaller one time fee to upgrade your lifetime pass to a +Arcade lifetime pass. I’d be fine with that, but I’m definitely not interested in yet another monthly fee to add to the bills… I’ll hold off until there is a better offer for the service.
I feel the same way. Although, I understand development needs to be funded (and funds are always scarce). Perhaps it would be viable for Plex to offer a lifetime pass for arcade (in a similar vein to the plex-pass itself). I for one am in principle anti-subscription. I just don’t do it. Won’t. So, that’s one customer unavailable at least, unless such a ‘one time fee’ becomes available.
The software which enables the streaming of the games is licensed from a different company. They only license it with a monthly subscription.
There is no way for Plex Inc. to pay these monthly off the one-time fee of lifetime passes which often were already collected many years ago.
