I’ve just installed a Google Streamer on my TV, Plex App is sucessfully downloaded.
However, link the Plex App from the Google Streamer to my actual Plex Account (running on my Phone) is expiring too fast. Hence the Plex App on the Google Streamer keep asking for linking and/or create a new Plex Account
Please help me out in this.
Have a great Day
Michiel
Same you can’t type the code in or even use QR link before 4 letter numbers are gone, even if you do get it typed in or QR linked, then says ‘something went wrong’… and you have email telling you it is linked, but it is not.
The Plex Status says everything is fine when clearly something is broken.
How long are you waiting to enter the code? It should last for several minutes. If it seems to be to quick, check the time on the device. If the time is wrong, the authentication system we’ll think the code has expired.
The expiration for the link code is about 5-10 seconds. No matter what time on device is.
However I did was able to LINK, through a shortcut (unintentionally): Casting from another device (Android Phone) on the Google Streamer connected TV, the LINK code got the ‘normal’ response time. And that did the trick.
