When initially starting some media, the screen is black, sometimes when going fullscreen the video will start working again, but with dropped frames and corrupted visuals.
With hardware acceleration enabled, video playback works when windowed, but drops frames when fullscreen. Relaunching with either option causes initial playback to look corrupted again.
What GPU are you using?
I’m using an AMD RX 7900XTX, which afaik should be using mpv’s vaapi backend.
Other vaapi applications appear to work correctly (In Flatpak). I suspect this might be an issue with whatever version of libva that is bundled with the Plex flatpak, as it doesn’t seem to pull on any of the Flatpak runtime, which have newer libraries (at least I’d suspect so).
Yeah the 7000 series GPUs are having problems atm: Plex broken on AMD RX 7000 series due to old dependencies
