I have plex live tv working on my Mac, I can see guide and all data for it. I can watch it as well. When i try schedule recording it defaults to one of my Share folders. Actually my folder for kids shows. I don’t want to use that folder for recordings. When I do drop down to select others folders. It dos not let me only has that one in it. How come?
Also I have Plex install on both of my fire tv and I can’t access live TV. Why? is that available for fire tv?
Also I’m a plex pass customer.
I don’t think it’s available on the FireTV yet.

Per the release notes, live tv is only on Android TV and iOS to start. So an Nvidia shield (or any Android TV box) or Apple TV is what you’d want for now until they add it to more devices.
Thanks guys, I try on my iPhone and don’t see any place to watch live tv. I can only schedule recordings on my mac. can’t watch anything
Not Apple TV,. That is a tvOS device, not iOS.
Only iPhones/iPads/iPods(??) can currently do the Live TV plus Android TV.
@Adamf79 - are you running PMS ver 1.7.2?
Tuning server version 1.7.2.3878. Showing up to date and no updates available. Also in general tab to the left, there is no live tv section. Only place I can do anything with my tuner is dvr (beta) tab.
Web interface does not have Live TV yet, only iOS and Android TV.
OK, thanks. Do you guys know when web interface or amazon fire tv will get its version updated?
