WD MyCloud Home Software Version 9.5.0-186
Just installed HD HomeRun Flex Duo and at first thought everything was ok. Could watch channels and record. Then discovered that everything stops working after a while. Looking at HDHR logs after using Plex, HDHR app, and VLC, discovered that HDHR and VLC close the stream (from HDHR log: “http stream ended (remote closed)”) but Plex does not. Thus, after I’ve tuned to two different channels in Plex, both tuners are locked up b/c Plex has not closed the stream (from HDHR log: “rejecting request from xxx - all tuners in use”). If I exit Plex, HDHR apparently automaticlly closes the stream after approx ~5 min and I can resume using Plex.
HDHR log of Plex TV viewing starts by watching channel 2.2, then switching to 4.1, then trying to switch to 5.1

(Exited Plex app and ~3 min later the streams ended by someone, apparently WDMyCloud)

Plex is clearly interacting with HDHR differently while recording versus watching live TV. (NB When I say “exited” Plex, exited and closed the program so def not running in background).
I’m left using Plex to record TV and HDHR’s app to actually watch live.
It appears the problem is with the Plex server on WD MyCloud and I suspect that the chances of getting an update from Plex, let alone WD, is close to zero.
