I cannot find out why this happens, but has been happening for a while and frankly tired of it.
Every time the system reboots; the Plex server starts, but I have to set up Plex from scratch when system is restarted. After reboot the server is running but I have to log in to claim it, then all the settings are lost. I have to set up the following at every reboot :
*All libraries, add library, add folders, and the server recreates all the thumbnails
*Set up the dvr : re set up the HDHomerun and guide, downloads a new copy as well
*Set up all the scheduled recordings again.
It basically starts over from scratch at each reboot. It used to not do this and then it started doing it sometime last year. I quit using Plex because of it. Now have been trying to use Plex again but it will not save the settings during reboot.
I am using Win 10 Pro 64, which seems to have monthly maintenance updates, that I kind of want to keep up with.
What settings am I missing to get Plex to save the settings so I do not have to re set it up every time the system reboots?
