Since the latest update, Plex has been nearly impossible to use. I dread pausing or rewinding because it just spins for several minutes. After an episode of a show, Plex crashes and goes back to the home screen on my android TV. We’re going back to Blu-ray and I regret paying for Plex Pass.
Rushed release. They COULD roll it back and make the users happy. Quick, cheap, amd professional.
What they WILL do is double down to try and fix it to appease an ego-xecutive. Seen it many times. This has all the hallmarks.
Since the fixes take weeks, a lot of folks will switch to alternatives, most if them silently.
Roll back and we come back.
Are you referring to the beta release for Android TV that was released yesterday? Or what issues are you experiencing and which version?
2026.15.0 fire TV player with the exact same issues here. Lags on start, rewind, crashes after a few rewind and feeds.
Audio fails to start abiut 70% of the time.
