Just added a new movie and when Plex matched the movie, it matched it correctly…but it added a trailer to a different movie. I have unmatched and rematched it but still adds the wrong trailer. How in the world do you fix this??
Let us know which movie it is. Might be an issue in the backend Plex metadata for that movie having the wrong trailer.
The movie is Bonnie Scotland 1935. It’s a Laurel & Hardy movie.
And which movie is the trailer advertising?
On my system, the thumbnail looks like a trailer for Youngblood (1986).
However, when I play the trailer, it plays the one for Bonnie Scotland.
There’s a thread that you’re supposed to use to report, but good luck. It seems like nothing ever happens with a lot of the reports.
Essentially if you don’t get the correct trailer straight out of the gate, don’t ever expect to. Just accept and move on.
