There used to be a main thread but it seemed like it had been abandoned by Plex support, and is now locked:
This thread is meant to track and report incorrectly matched trailers or extras. Please do not use this thread to report "I didn't get a trailer for XXXX".
How to report:
Movie Name and Year: e.g. "Avatar (2009)"
IMDB ID: e.g. "tt0499549" (Find the movie on imdb.com, then look in the URL. Avatar is http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0499549/ )
Description: e.g. "I added Avatar to my library and it retrieved extras, but the extras were for Top Gun (1986)."
This thread is regularly monitored so…
There are still numerous instances where the automatically matched trailer is wrong. I haven’t been able to figure out any way to correct this myself. Is this just in the ‘too bad so sad ’ feature pile now, or is there actually a way to get a correct/better match? (Without having to manually seek and download a local extras/trailer file)
It wasn’t abandoned. Just auto-closed after no one commented for 3 months. I’ve re-opened that topic. Please report there.

OK, thanks, I appreciate that!
The reason I mentioned abandoned is because reported mismatches were not being fixed.
Eg.
Movie: Maze Runner - Death Cure.
IMDB: tt4500922
Pulling trailer for the LEGO version
Movie Name and Year** : Solo A Star Wars Story (2018)
IMDB ID** : tt3778644
Description:** It is playing the Solo Lego trailer
and
Movie: The Grinch (2019)
IMDB: tt2709692
Has the wrong trailer - some burger commercial that features the Grinch.
Movie: Solo: A Star Wars Story ([2018]
IMDB: tt3778644
Shows a spoof trailer featuring Lego characters.
are all still showing the incorrect trailers.
I’ll try re-reporting in the other thread and see what happens.
