Hi Folks,
I am wrestling with making PMP more reliable on a basement theater on Windows. I’m running on an Intel NUC with Windows 10, and the key things I need are reliable keyboard commands (for a remote control interfacing with Flirc) that:
- Forces PMP 3.0 to launch in fullscreen TV mode (it appears F11 is a toggle, not a discrete “go full screen at launch”)
- Reliably quits Plex and shuts down the PC
For the first, I have force fullscreen toggled on in the settings. But I’ve had issues in the past where it wasn’t. Any ideas?
For the second, I used to have the remote send an “H” (for Home), then an Escape, then navigate down one and select Shutdown. Unfortunately, it appears that the only way I can now make this menu appear is by pressing Escape, which first brings me to Home, then a second Esc brings up the menu. The end result is that I cannot consistently get to this menu from anywhere else (ie, if I’m on Movies, it takes two Esc presses to get to the menu, versus if I am on Home it takes one).
Does anyone have any best practice on how to resolve either of these issues?
