Oh sweet Jesus Christ,
If we had that I know I would have the perfect media center.
The combination of both a viz and lyrics would make my home a stage for one!

Yes, to choose between albumcover and a visualizer would be amazing in the web player.
I too vote for this feature. I have a 125" screen and having something in time with the music would be sweet. If it could find images of the band being played and use them in some way that would be sweeeeeet!
Clearly there is an interest in having visualizer options. It is very frustrating that what seems to be a very simple feature to enhance would go undeveloped for so long when almost every other competitor sees the appeal in offering this functionality. G-Force is exceptional and easily integrates with most players.
Literally anything would be better than a static image of an album cover⦠Visualizer, or random google images of the band/album/etc⦠Something please.
Yes! Count me in as wanting the choice between Visualizer and screen saver type album cover.
Iāve just made the switch from Kodi to Plex and the one thing thatās missing is visualisers. Iād love to see Project M (Milkdrop) make it to my Android Shield Plex app.
Would love a visualizer too!
+1 Iād love a visualiser too
Yes, please add a visualizer (besides plexamp).
+1 for audio visualizer - https://github.com/dreamlayers/acidwarp
Another +1 for audio visualizer
+1 for visualizers.
Milkdrop is open sourced as I recall - it is one of the highest rated out there. And it does come w/ the option for steroscopic 3d view (Red/Blue) - which I would expect would take little to make into Side by Side as a BIG plus plus for the VR community.
I would really like this feature as well - any ETA on when it would become available?
2 years plus so far I wouldnāt hold my breathe
+1 for the visualisation feature. Always been a huge fan of the Soundspectrum visualisations, G-Force in particular. Most other media players have this feature ā¦would be nice to see Plex respond to this thread and acknowledge the growing popularty.
+1, I would also like this feature, I am happy for even just the more āSimplisticā ones like:

Mainly this is so smart TVs can have something playing when being used for music.
Any update on this? Anything would be better than the album art moving from one side of the screen to the other.
+10000 for this! I would love to have a nice music visualizer built into plex as well!
Something clean, modern and simple like the Monstercat Music Visualizer that is so popular on Windows, sadly thereās no Mac version.
Here are 2 examples of some really nice, high quality audio visualizers. The 1st one is the Monstercat one that I mentioned - Monstercat Live Visualizer (Free and Easy w/Spotify Support!) (v2) - YouTube
and the 2nd one is Staella, itās an iOS app, and its the best audio/music visualizer Iāve seen. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/staella-music-visualizer/id1370376584?mt=8

I donāt really like Project M, Whitecap, and a bunch of others. They donāt really go with the music at all and theyāre overly complex. I am looking for something simple, looks good and is very responsive to the music. It has to sync up well.
Plex developers, please consider adding this feature. It seems a lot of people would like this.
+1 for this feature. Iāve never understood why this feature is lacking from consumer products these days.
My first experience with a visualizer was through the original PlayStationās audio player in the early 90s, so it canāt be a technological hurdleā¦
