If I have a video paused in Plex Media Player and my pulse eight CEV adapter is plugged in, if I turn my TV off, Plex turns it back on always within 5 seconds (whether the TV is on that input or not!!). I’ve tried every other combination of devices and software on this TV that I can think of, and it seems pretty certain that it’s Plex Media Player doing it. I know PMP supports CEC, but I couldn’t find any options in the settings related to it.
For anyone else with this issue, the fix was turning of activatesource in plexmediaplayer.conf
