Plex Media Player for Linux Desktop

Is there a version of Plex Meida Player avail (or upcoming) for Linux Desktop, Debian 9 (Stretch amd64). I have tried to install openPHT and AppImage but encountered overwhelming dependency problems, mostly versions not available for Debian 9. Running PMS on home server with six TVS served on the network, each with its own Dell Optiplex machine running Debian 9 as well. Have mpv installed on my test machine with every codec known to man, trying to install PMP to no avail. Various trancoding problems now, using PMS as player. Any word on a release of PMP for us Debian Stretch users?

User @Knapsu has created one using AppImage

Tried @Knapsu’s AppImage along with openPHT as I had indicated in first post. Too many dependency problems with AppImage accessing external Qt plugins. I extracted the AppImage and there are directories within that show the plugin needed. Starting PMP stalls due to plugin. Thanks for your help.

Check out from git and build it.
I’m not a fan of version 2 so I stick with master branch IIRC

Here one person plus who would like to see PMP on Linux.
