Just a minor annoyance with plex media player on win10 and 11. When you navigate to the search icon and start typing with the keyboard, several inputs get missed in comparison to navigating to each letter e.g via a controller or using the arrow keys. It seems like there is a delay in registering inputs by default as one would expect the users to navigate to each letter instead of typing it
Ideally, the plex media player should register the keyboard inputs directly rather than it indirectly utilising the on screen keyboard as its input mechanism
Have you already tested Plex HTPC?
Plex HTPC is the “to be successor” for Plex Media Player. Plex Media Player on the other hand is probably no longer getting any updates.
Just tried it and it doesn’t suffer from the issue. thanks. Quite surprised this isn’t on the download page On a side note, the exe doesn’t seem to be digitally signed. Is this expected?
