Thanks to this forum: HOWTO DOWNLOAD PREVIOUS PLEX VERSION
I was able to download and install this version (and it works pretty good):
https://downloads.plex.tv/plexmediaplayer/2.5.0.792-1bc7f225/PlexMediaPlayer-2.5.0.792-1bc7f225-windows-x64.exe
Now if I can only find the newest version that is not all messed up!
