Hi,
I have 2 Intel NUC with Windows 10, one of them boots right in to TV mode and everything works great. The second do not have a TV mode and the settings sections is vary thinn? I have tried to re-download it from PLEX website but its the same?
Could I just copy the one with the TV mode or will this version stop working?
You may have the New Plex Player App and PMP. They are two different apps and the New Player doesn’t have TV Mode.
This should be interesting reading (over a long weekend):
As a user who recently bought a lifetime Plex Pass, and uses PMP for Windows exclusively, I find the planned removal of Windows-based HTPC support completely unacceptable. How do I get a refund?
You can download the version with TV mode (Plex Media Player) here:
Plex Media Player v2.43.0 is now available to all macOS and Windows users.
DOWNLOADS:
macOS
Windows
NEW:
Added Russian language selection
FIXED:
Fixed the sidebar and preplay page content not loading correctly after starting playback quickly
Fixed an issue where restoring the home screen to its default state twice in quick sucession could cause the app to crash
There’s no need to read through that other thread to get you up and running again on your other NUC.

Thanks but how long will it work?
From the updated blog entry
We will keep PMP in TV mode working as it is today and will fix serious issues which impact the product for the foreseeable future.
Apparently, there was a need to read through that other thread, at least the answer right at the top - the reason I linked it.
