Plex Media Player OSX keeps going off window?

Hey, I have a recurring problem that I have no idea how ive fixed. My player seems to go off window can I cant get it back. Its not in mission control and the applications windows shortcut just shows an outline on the bottom half of the screen. This isn’t the first time its happened.

I do have a second monitor attached to my iMac and I do use it as a target display for a MacBook Pro but this shouldn’t confuse it to go off screen.

Doesn’t anyone know how to get it back and could a shortcut be added to bring it back to the primary display?

Ok so bit of an update.

Deleting and reinstalling the app didn’t nothing it still just appeared as a blue outline transparent window when using application windows and nothing in mission control.

However using an app deletion utility (part of Forklift3) which removed all the associated files and then reinstalling I have my window back.

If it happens again and I remember I will use the app deletion utility to get all the associated files and compare then to the ones after reinstall and see if I can spot what setting was causing the problem as this is at least the second time ive had this issue.

Ok its happened again and ive managed to pin down what is happening.

Probably a pretty unique use case given that I use target display mode (no longer on new Macs) and a separate screen.

The cause of the blue outlined disappearing window is in the Plex.ini

This is from when the window dissapears after being on a separate monitor when target display mode is deactivated.

And if I delete the file and restart Plex media player it gets reset to

windowY=360

and the window appears fine again.

Looks like some sort of bug.
