I have 6 HTPC’s in the house running PMP and none of them are perfect. I thought it was due to the sync mode:display breaking around version 2.10, and I have been waiting 7 months for that to be fixed.
But this thread has alerted me to a new possibility that maybe PMP is using the wrong, or non optimal codecs on some of those systems, so I would like more information about that, please.
I tried all of your suggestions, but same error. I’ve included the new log file from the reinstalled PMP, installed on C: drive. I’ve also included a dump of the codecs I have installed. I installed the latest LAV version as you can see in the file.

enable tls as shown here and see if that fixes it

Hi, I have just downloaded the Plex app on my laptop (OS Windows 7). After installing I try to launch the app and I get the below error.
Can someone please let me know how I can get this fixed? I have downloaded and installed it couple of times but still getting the same error.
You need to have both Servcie Pack 1 for Windows 7
and
Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7
installed, plus all updates available in Windows Update after installing both of the above.
Windows 7 will get no support from Microsoft from January 2020 anymore. Maybe it is time to update?
