The behavior with 2.58 is very odd. Video starts to play. PMP UI vanishes, sounds keep player, CPU usage at ~90%, entire mac becomes slow and unusable. Took me several minutes to navigate the UI to create spin dump and process sample in that state.
And for the sake of completeness crosslinking Plex desktop app crashes + kernel panic
