Plex Media Player Start from Remote

I’ve been using PleX Home Theatre for years and loved it but for some reason It won’t connect anymore so I’ve had to upgrade to Plex Media player… I must say it’s not as nice as the old app, and the lack of skins is very disappointing.

Anyway, Is there a way to start PMP using my Apple remote, this was an essential feature of the old player but I can’t seem to find the option sin the new one… Any help appreciated.
