Hi,
I’ve been having an intermittent but frequent issue, were one library section will not finish scanning. Everything gets successfully updated, but the scanning just keeps going until I cancel.
It’s always the same section, using the Hama TV agent and ASS scanner. It was working perfectly for the last few years.
I’ve tried everything I could think of, updated Hama TV and ASS, downgraded them. Removed the library section and re-added it as a new section. Rolled back my Plex DB to a backup from when it was working fine. I even spent 8 hours going over every single file to ensure there was no weird naming issues, invalid characters, bad folder structure, etc.
I can see in the server log, the scanning activity reports 100% complete, but the Plex Media Scanner job is just not exited sometimes. I’ve attached a log snippet from a successfully ended scan and one that never ended.
Any help would be appreciated. I can upload more logs if needed.
