I was seeing a lot of instances of Plex Media Scanner.exe stopping in the reliability manager so I rolled back to before they started which was version 4392 and the crashes stopped. The crashes really only seem to happen around the same time the scheduled tasks are set to run. But they happen at least 5-10+ times every night. Can someone please help me to find a way to update Plex without seeing all these crashed every night?
I updated to 1.23.1.4602 about an hour or so ago, and have already had one instance of Plex Media Scanner.exe crashing in the Windows logs. I will roll back to the working version for now and try again once a new version is out. Has anyone else seen this issue? Is there something I can do to fix it beside not updating Plex?
I recently had my server PC’s power supply die on me and migrated all my drives to a new PC. I gave 1.23.4.4712 a shot and Windows reported Plex Media Scanner.exe crashing quite a few times during the nightly maintenance two days in a row. I rolled back to 1.22.3.4392 and the crashes stopped again. All new hardware besides the a few of the drives, and still the same crashes. Is there anyone out there that can help?
