Plex Media server 1.18.3.2129 installation flag my Security software with Ransomware detection

Bitdefender Antivirus Plus

After I downloaded the Dec 5, 2019 PMS version 1.18.3.2129, I shut down the PMS server and installed the new version.

During the installation my security software, Bitdefender, flagged the following files as “Infected with ransomware”. The software was able to disinfect the files.

\CloudAccountV2.dat
\Flags.dat
\UpdateChannels.dat

             \Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db
