Plex Media Server crashes on desktop every time I click ‘Update Libraries’ from media server taskbar icon, if i don’t do that then it’ll eventually crash within the next 12 hours, usually while i’m watching something.
This has been happening for a long time and i’ve tried re-installing both server and player, deleting all and starting fresh, i’ve googled heaps to try find a fix but nothing works.
Your logs indicate PMS is failing to properly identify one of you folders. Appears to be
E:\TV Shows\Oz\Season 1
Not sure why it’s failing on that folder. Can you move that folder out of the library and see if PMS still crashes? If that works, create a new folder and copy the files into this new folder. There must be something in that name that you can’t see that is messing up PMS.
Thanks for that, i wasn’t sure if that was the issue or not because before it was saying a different show so i just deleted it but it crashed again and said Oz so i thought i was reading the logs incorrectly.
I’ve just scanned my library for updates several times and it has not crashed at all, much appreciated.
