Media server starts out working fine but after a week of recording TV shows using HDHomerun the server starts to crash. Windows is fine, only the media server crashes. I can restart it and it will run for another day and then crash again.
I have been having this issue for quite a while. Wiping the recorded media and reinstalling buys me some time but I end up getting back to a crashing server scenario usually after a week.
I need some help.
Fixed in a later release but you will either have to load the beta ( 1.26.1.5798) or wait for it to be made public. The current 1.26.0 version introduced a change related to dates that could cause recordings to be deleted.
I have a different problem that causes my server (Version 1.27.1.5916) to crash.
I get “memory cannot be accessed.” messages almost daily from the Plex Server. I get this message ONLY from the Plex Server. No other application on my computer has ANY memory problems. I have an AMD Ryzen 2700 CPU with 8 cores and 48GB of RAM.
I have monitored the errors, and the error fault point in memory appears at different locations almost every time.
I have run memory tests on m y computer, with a finding of no memory errors.
I cannot seem to find beta 1.26.1.5798 per your response, only 1.26.2.5797. Is this what you meant or is there another beta coming, and if so when?
Regarding my original crash logs are you saying that the crashing was due to a known bug? Your comment about recordings being deleted don’t track with my crashing problem unless I am missing something.
