Plex Media Server + Drobo with Multiple Volumes

Server Version#: 1.22.1.4228
Player Version#: All

So I don’t think this is actually a Plex issue, but just hoping someone here might have some advice. I run PMS on an always on 2019 iMac running Big Sur. My media is stored on a DAS Drobo 5C. I configured the Drobo to make 16TB volumes (at the time that was the max but not sure if they can be bigger now?). I have enough media to where the Drobo created a second volume. It automatically created it as a new 16TB volume with the same name. Drobo handles where it writes bits to each volume as it thinks of it as a shared disk pack. However, MacOS and ultimately Plex see this as a huge problem. For example, if I navigate to /Volumes/Drobo/Movies/JFK/ using Finder->Go to Folder, it navigates to the second (new) volume, which doesn’t include said folder instead of to the first (old) volume that does. PMS has the same issue and thinks the media is simply not available. Sometimes PMS sees the original volume first, sometimes it doesn’t. Just seems totally random. This was never an issue before Big Sur (I spilled into a second volume years ago) so it’s s combination of something that changes in MacOS also. I’m not exactly sure what to do at this point? If I rename the second volume I’m not sure if Drobo will quit writing bits to it or not? I don’t really want to split what media I store on which volume, nor do I want to mess with adding more libraries to Plex, but just not sure what the right answer is?
