Plex Media Server folder is HUGE PILE OF S* AND MESS

Hi

Lets talk about the Plex Media Server folder and the HUGE size of it? Does this folder grow endless? (Actully yes LOL) This message is more to DEVS, get a theraphy, obviosly one or more if not all of you have some kind of horder syndrom. Clean the mess, this folder is already over 5GB, im sure 90% of the files in that folder are just junk files - and even if they are needed, the size is beyond good and evil.

Same for Update folder! I could imagine one DEV ask CEO “How many old versions should we store?” CEO answer: YES! (facepalm)

Sorry I’m raging a bit, but I’m tired of this damn lazyness and filling my SSD with trash since years don’t amuse me.

PS: YES, I know of the existance of mklink, this is only work around not the solution.

You ain’t seen nothing yet. :wink:

Though you can save a lot by disabling some of Plex’s features.

Haha, you’ve got the mini version. Mine is 175GB.
