Plex media server is not accessible outside local network

Server Version#: 1.41.1.9057
Player Version#:
I have installed Plex in my Windows desktop. It works fine on my local network. But I am unable to access it outside of the network. The settings page is showing Not available outside local network.

I checked the troubleshooting guide and checked my router config as well. The uPNP forwarding rule is created in my router automatically

What else can I check? Not really a network guy so asking for your help.

What does https://canyouseeme.org/ show if you put port 23440 in?

Error: I could not see your service on XX.XX.XXX.XX on port (23440 )

Although the IP detected in the above tool is different from what I see on Plex settings.

Are you using a VPN? Or your ISP may be using a CGNAT

I am not on any VPN. I don’t know about CGNAT, how do I check that?

What are the first 2 octets of your ISP? 192.168.xxx.xxx

45.248

Not sure if this is helpful. This is the network configuration I have in my router

Thats the Money screenshot. 172.16.0.0/12 is a non-public IP range meaning you have CGNAT. Plex doesnt work with CGNAT, you can ask your ISP for a public IP/Non-CGNAT but that will probably cost a fee.

Ahh, thank you for your time.
