After the upgrade this morning Plex server is not starting. I’ve tried rebooting the Windows OS, ti didn’t resolve the issue. If I manually start it, it doesn’t start and I have the following two entries in Windows Application logs:
Anyone with the similar issue?
Looking at the logs further, I can see that the app was updated OK:
But, after that it failed to restart the components:
I can see that it requested a system restart at that point:
But after the system restart it gives out Plex generates warning logs from the original post.
I tried to repair Plex first. Didn’t work. I followed the instructions on Plex Forums and shutdown Plex in the Tray. Stopped Plex Media updates in services. Uninstalled Plex in Control Panel Program uninstall. Did a search on my PC for Plex and found the Plex Update Folder. Clicked on last update from 6/24/2020 instead of 7/22/20…and success. I am now able to stream my media on Plex.
I was a bit more lucky, just managed now to resolve it by doing a reinstall (with repair option).
