I didn’t put a client version, since the client is irrelevant in this case, as the server is unreachable.
Periodically the server on the Shield becomes unreachable. This happens on the average once or twice a week—sometimes more often and sometimes less. In the past I’ve restarted the Shield and everything went back to normal in Plex.
Today I had just restarted the server and about an hour later it went into the weeds again. I was able to go into the Plex settings and could see that the Plex Media Server was Stopped. I restarted and everything returned to normal.
I downloaded the logs and can see in the logs that for some reason it started a shutdown sequence. (See Plex Media Server.1.log at timestamp 19:38:01.886.)
