I have been running plex media server on my QNAP TVS-682 for many years and its been absolutely fine. I’m a firm believer in that if it ain’t broke then dont fix it. However, I was forced to eventually do a firmware upgrade on the NAS and my PMS stopped working. I then upgraded to the latest version of QNAP and it still doesn’t work. I keep getting the error of The server “Home-NAS” is unreachable. Make sure it’s running, double check your network, and try again."
Please help - I only ever use the NAS for Plex and now its an expensive brick…
Then a share will be created, that you can access from your workstation.
In that share, navigate to Plex Media Server and download the directory named Logs
and upload it here
What do you mean by download the directory named Logs and and upload it here? There’s a whole bunch of files - do you want to see all of them? Or just a specific one?
I’m afraid that my knowledge of the QNAP NAS which is LINUX is very limited. How do I actually fine / get to the Back Up directory. The article gives the path, but I just don’t know how to do this. In windows, i would have been OK… Thanks
wow… amazing! It’s working again. Thanks so much! Saved my life just in the nick of time before the wife and kids come back to discover there’s no exercise vids (wife) and cartoons (kids)! Thanks man!
