I have an issue with buffering. I have upgraded my server(the server is remote) to ensure it can handle the transcoding and upload/download speed. I have also done speed tests on my client device to the typical speed test servers(fast.com/speedtest.net ) I get over 130mbps on the client and ~250mbps on the server.
The servers passmark score is around ~5k and yet I still see buffering. It would be extremely helpful if the plex server had a speedtest utility built in to assist with troubleshooting.
Passmarks and internet speed are not enough information to diagnose with.
If you are transcoding video, burning in subtitles, and/or converting audio then 5000 passmarks gets consumed very quick.y
Can you please share DEBUG log files which capture the start of a playback session?

The latest logs in the plex media server log are relevant to the issue. Literally the very last video stream was exhibiting the issue.
It was an original video quality on my TV.

Is the player app set to automatically adjust quality ? It appears to be set that way.
