yeah, i noticed that, anyway to remove unused files to increase space, or just look for a bigger SD card?

First try the below tips and then get a larger SD card. To check the free space in Linux just use df -h.

(1) Did you resize your partition after initial OS installation with raspi-config to fill the SD card?

https://elinux.org/RPi_Resize_Flash_Partitions

(2) You can disable and remove the video preview and chapter thumbnails in Plex to reduce the meta data size significantly.

thanks i’ll give that a go. Thanks heaps for your help

You could also use a USB drive to hold the Plex metadata. An ext4 partition is recommended.

Using noobs, so raspi-config doesn’t work

ended up making disk image and moving to a 32GB card that I had which was verified to work with NOOBS installation.

then used this guide to make sure the whole SD card was being used:

works a treat now and only 46% of space used, i’ll keep an eye on it and if filling quickly i’ll disable metadata.

thanks for putting me on the right path, much appreciated!!
