Hi i am unable to get any info on plex as it is refusing to load. I have tried all the help on the site and nothing works! I have unistalled and then downloaded the latest version and reinstalled only for the same error to occur
the error is :
Plex Media Server Was Unable To Open Its Media Database?
can anyone advise or suggest how i can get past this fault?

Above sadly means, that the database file itself is corrupted

ok dane22… thankyou for your help. Would there be any reason why this has corrupted? like a virus or some thing? or is it just one of those things that can happen?
Most common cases are unexpected shutdowns, like a power failure or a crash
Other possibility could be that AntiVira solutions are scanning/“protecting” the database file
Ok thanks, My rig had restarted itself lastnight for some unknown reason, plex played up ever since that happened so i would assume thats the cause , thankyou for your advise and help. I have now removed the database and now plex is going to spend most of the day setting up a new one!! thanks again
