Is it possible to run a Plex Media Server with added users without connecting to plex.tv, I am concerned about my privacy and my family’s privacy, and want everything to run local on my Plex Media Server without any connection or information to plex.tv
I would love an answer to this, I am allready a plex pass user and think its an amazing piece of software only missing this and native run as service on windows to be absolutly perfect.
Plex doesn’t work offline with a Plex Pass as the Plex Pass cannot be verified.
Plex Home (the added users) is a Plex Pass feature which requires authentication and verification from Plex.tv
Why can’t plex support a window based model. So it only expires the plex pass, functionality if a connection is lost for more than 7 days (for example) …
