How to make Plex offline without connection to internet for security purpose. I just want a local media server but with security as higher priority.
You don’t. It’s not designed that way.
Maybe if there is enough interest, Engineering will consider an Offline mode.
Count me in. Majority of my content is stored and played locally. Don’t use podcast as it’s way to buggy, no webshows, news, tidal or free content. Music I sync and play when remote.
There is a way to do it. Be aware that there will be limitations.

That is one way. I don’t usually mention it because almost every request I get for “offline mode” is to run without restrictions, specifically Hardware Transcoding.
Please make the feature available for subscription-based if plex depends on internet for the free version. Thanks.
