I'm a Plex Pass user, how do I use Plex offline without logging in to an external service?

Hi,

I’m a Plex Pass user but I will be going overseas with my media server and would like to know how to use it in only local network mode, i.e. not logged into the Internet. I am not guaranteed for Internet to always be 100% or available, and I didn’t want to be hindered by that.

Can someone point me to how to ensure this can be done.

I will have my own WiFi network at home and on the road and multiple devices connecting (for me, wife and kids), so I need a real solution.

Currently everytime I start up Plex Home Theatre it wants to connect over the Internet with my PlexPass account. My devices the same. I need a better solution. Maybe its right in front me and I don’t see it. I want my kids to have to login to my Plex Media Server with their accounts so that I can age restrict content however.

Am I asking for the moon?

Thanks,
Brian

It appear so mate, I’ve asked for this feature my self but it appears Managed User does not work like that.

Pretty stupid I know. I am also being asked to login to Plex.tv just to access my media locally through managed accounts.
