Over the last year, I have had to reinstall my Plex Server probably a dozen times, it runs for a while and then just quits. I’m using a Netgear ReadyNAS server and installing it as a DEB. I can’t find anything in the log files that gives me any clue and I can’t figure out how to just clear out the Logs.zip (1.8 MB)
on the whole thing. Is there Anyone out there that can give me a suggestion on how I might go about resolving this issue? I have attached the log files as well.
Did find any more information on this @Lasertop?
I’ve been running plex on a Netgear 314 for about five years and in the last year it’s started to misbehave. Now it will no longer start. Exactly as you describe. I’m running a server version very close to yours (plexmediaserver_1.25.0.5246) which I think is the latest at the moment. Very frustrating when it won’t start as there are no errors logged on screen - it simply “does not start”
Nope, I haven’t found out a thing, not even how to clear out the old data and restart the system so that I don’t have to start from scratch much less how to resolve the issue.
